A Desktop Theme is a collection of wallpaper, mouse pointers, sound effects, colors, fonts, screensavers and startup/shutdown screens, all bundled together into a convenient package. It lets you totally alter the appearance of your desktop in one go. There are thousands of themes available free on the Internet.
To use most of these themes, you will need Microsoft PLUS!, an add-on pack for Windows 95, available at your local software reseller. However, for those of you who are as poor as I am, there are quite a few cheaper alternatives, some of which can be located and downloaded from WinFiles.com.
